Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in Acton crash

ACTON — A woman in her 50s suffered life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a car on Route 2A, in the area of Route 27, in Acton about 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said in a press release Sunday they are working with Acton Police to investigate the crash.

The release states a preliminary investigation suggests the woman was struck by a Toyota Prius that was traveling westbound on Route 2A. The driver remained on scene.

The injured woman was not identified in the release.
