Quarterbacks Luke Falk (Washington State) and Jack Abraham (Southern Mississippi) are among the 10 players on the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ negotiation list whose names were released by the CFL on Thursday.
Even though the 2020 season has been cancelled, the nine CFL teams are required to reveal the names of 10 players on the negotiation list as part of league policy. Teams can have up to 45 players on their negotiation list, which is constantly in flux.
Falk, 25, was selected in the sixth round (199th overall) of the 2018 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans.
He dressed for four pre-season games with the Titans before being released after the pre-season. The Miami Dolphins claimed him on waivers before releasing him on May 1, 2019.
The next day, Falk (6-foot-4, 215 pounds) was claimed by the New York Jets and signed to the team’s practice roster.
He made his NFL regular-season debut on Sept. 12, 2019, completing 20 of 25 passes for 198 yards without any touchdowns or interceptions, coming off the bench in a 23-3 Monday Night Football loss to the Cleveland Browns.
