Police are looking for two men after shots were allegedly fired Saturday morning in a parking lot.

Regina police were called to the 3700 block of 5th Avenue after several residents called to report what they believed to be multiple gunshots.

Police determined a silver SUV was parked in the parking lot of a business when a male suspect approached on foot and pointed a firearm at the SUV.

According to police, the SUV driver got out of the vehicle and pointed a firearm back at the first suspect.

Police believe one of them fired several rounds.

The first suspect is described as an Indigenous male with a slim build who is approximately 20-years-old with short hair, wearing a black t-shirt.

The second suspect is described as a male in his 30s, also wearing a black t-shirt, with a heavy build and short hair.

Police don’t believe anyone was injured during the incident and say while it doesn’t appear to be random, the incident posed a significant risk to the public.

Anyone with information that could assist police in this investigation is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800 222-8477.
