After announcing that provincial parks will be be open with COVID-19 restrictions this summer, the province has released new details on how reserving campsites will work.
We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
Starting May 4, residents can begin reserving campsites through the online system, or by calling 1-855-737-7275. Campgrounds will be opening to 50 per cent capacity, meaning every other campsite will be available for booking. Campgrounds will be open starting June 1.
In order to limit interprovincial travel, only Saskatchewan residents will be able to reserve campsites for the foreseeable future.
Reservations for campsites will open at 7 a.m., with the queue opening at 6:40 a.m. There will be a staggered launch date system for reservations to help manage the volume of visits to the website.
